More Yoshi progress!

I went on a little bit of a sewing spree today since I’ve been neglecting the Yoshi quilt recently. I’ve been cross-stitching this awesome pattern that I found on tumblr a while ago–it was one of those things where I sat straight up and said “I must make this!” It’s a classic cross-stitch parody, and reads “Bless this Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy.” Perfect for our Nerdery!

Here’s the pattern for the cross-stitch, by hardcorestitchcorps on Etsy: Bless this House-Mos Eisley edition. She has a lot of other really cute patterns, too. I’ll post a picture of it once I’m done–all I have left to do is finish the Mos Eisley village at the bottom.

Yoshi progress report:

5×5 blocks completely finished (I quilt as I go, so this means the block is sewn together and quilted onto the batting): 11 blocks of the total 42 blocks

5×5 blocks sewn together, but not quilted: 4

And a bonus pic: Smaug guards my sewing machine. Yes, I am a nerd.
